Dr. Cheng is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in the care and diagnosis of injuries to bone and joint in the upper and lower extremities. In particular, Dr. Cheng is interested in sports injuries to shoulder and knee. He performs Arthroscopy surgery and joint replacement for shoulder, hip, and knee. Dr. Cheng has been practicing in the Bay Area since 1996. He attended Northwestern University and received his orthopedic surgery training at UCSF where he had fellowship training in Shoulder Arthroscopy and has a certificate of added qualification in orthopedic sports medicine. Dr. Cheng contiues to receive significant recognition for excellence. Since starting his practice in 1996, he has lectured worldwide, and provided needed Orthopedic medicine in third world countries where his fluency in Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Spanish has been of considerable benefit. |
